The best way to get an early start in Napa. 

View the vineyards and rolling hills of Napa Valley’s less developed east side as you travel up the Silverado trail to Raymond Vineyards via motorcoach.  Upon arriving at Raymond’s "Theater of Nature", your winery tour will begin with an introduction to Raymond's history and organic farming practices.  Walk between the vine rows and learn what it means to grow biodynamic grapes.  Then test yourself with a sensory evaluation designed to help you identify the flavors and aromas in wine.  See the machinery and facilities involved in the crushing, fermentation, bottling and storage of wine as you explore Raymond's extensive production space.  Finally, finish your tour with an opportunity to purchase some of Raymond's wines. 

You will then catch the Wine Train at one of the Train's scheduled up valley stops. Enjoy the next two hours viewing the west side of the Valley and leisurely savoring a three-course gourmet lunch as you return to Napa by train.

9:45am - Check-in. The San Francisco Connection shuttle arrives just before 9:45am, so you will have time to use the restrooms.  10:15am - Bus leaves station.   10:45am - Bus arrives at Raymond Vineyards.  90 minute tour and tasting at Raymond Vineyards.  12:15am - Bus departs Raymond.  12:30pm - Board the train at Grgich Hills.  Eat lunch in the Gourmet Car and enjoy the Wine Train.  2:30pm - Wine Train returns to Napa
